Thoughts about fifth grade...

How do you feel about fifth grade? Is it what you expected so far? What is one thing that you have found challenging?

First College Club Challenge

This week we participated in our first College Club challenge. It was a multiplication facts challenge against the three other fifth grade classes. The challenge was to see which class has the GREATEST multiplication skills. The students were given five minutes to complete as many multiplication problems as they could. The facts were then corrected. As a class we complied all of our correct facts to find the average number completed. We won with an average of 92. Keep up the great work Wolverines!

Michigan Wolverines

At Park Hill we are not only striving for excellence, but for preparation. That is why many classrooms have adopted a college to represent throughout the year. Our class is representing the Michigan Wolverines. Each week we will be showing our dedication to this school by wearing Maize and Blue! We will also be participating in College Club challenges against other classrooms.
